About Us Meerkat's Safari is the first book in the Meerkat's Adventures series, and was written by Claudia Graziano (with creative inspiration from an old friend, Dan Sweeney) and illustrated by Michelle Barbera. Claudia Graziano Claudia Graziano is a freelance writer, editor and animal lover. She lives in San Francisco with her cat, Mathilda, and enjoys warm weather, hula hooping, free parking, chocolate, and all things green. This is her first children's book.Michelle Barbera Michelle Barbera is a Boston-based illustrator, graphic designer and meerkat enthusiast.
